Makers 2022

Femi is a local Liverpool artist, working with mixed media, mostly illustration, photography, digital art and film. The ‘Makers’ piece was an intuitive exploration, the marker displaying the encapsulation of senses, movement of language and overall energy of the observed moment of men sitting, talking and making things together. The artwork was the first in a series of observations, setting her off on a path to visually explore sensory awareness, through a diverse range of work in various mediums.

Femi’s objective’s within her work are to try to communicate the refractions of experience described as mark-making. Topics cover questioning of perspectives, connection to others and the experience of sound and space through abstraction and distortion.
